What to Bring to First Class and Other Classes. Please provide your dog's name, age and breed as requested on the final PayPal payment page. Thanks! Note: Please bring proof of vaccinations to first class. Should include vaccinations for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvo (DHLP-P), and Rabies. If you choose to titer instead of vaccinate, please bring last titer test. Bordatella is recommended but not mandatory. Please Bring Soft Treats to First Class.* Soft treats include any treat that can be broken up easily and swallowed quickly by your dog. For Poochie Prep School, please bring your dog to class on a regular (not an extendable) leash, preferably attached to a harness. These are the types of harnesses I recommend: 1) a "Gentle Leader^© ", 2) a "Sporn Halter^©", or 3) an "Easy Walk^©"harness, or similar brand, if you have one. If you do not have one of those or one like them, but you do have a regular harness, please bring your dog wearing his harness with his leash attached to it. If you do not own a harness for your dog, please do not run out and buy one, just yet. We will talk about the various kinds and decide on the best one for your dog during the 1st or 2nd class, so just bring your dog on leash attached to his regular collar. If you normally use a choke chain or a prong collar, and you cannot control your dog without it, bring his regular collar with you to class and I can show you before you leave how to control him without it. If your dog does not pull at all when you walk, you can bring him with a regular leash attached to his collar. Private Lesson Prices listed are based on locations in and around Austin within a generalized area. Locations outside this area may require an additional $15.00 fee for travel. If a class is cancelled or a date is changed, you will be notified as soon as possible and your money will be promptly refunded if necessary. *Rabies shot is not required if your vet recommended that you wait until your dog is a certain age to receive it.
